We get it – Terms & Conditions don’t usually make for thrilling reading. But here at Empower Training Group, we believe in keeping things transparent, straightforward, and maybe even a little fun (yes, really).
Think of this as the guidebook to how we work together – from bookings and cancellations to how we handle pricing, refunds, and the all-important certificates you’ll earn. Whether you’re signing up for a life-saving first aid course or brushing up on safeguarding skills, these T&Cs keep everything fair and square.

1. Introduction
By accessing our website, purchasing our services, or attending our training courses, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. These terms outline the obligations of both parties and govern your use of our services.
2. Definitions
“We,” “us,” "ETG," or “our” refers to Empower Training Group.
“You” or “your” refers to the individual or entity using our services.
“Services” refers to our training courses, online resources, and related materials.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or purchasing services, you confirm that you:
- Have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
- Are at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent if under 18.
- Will comply with applicable laws when using our services.
4. Services and Booking
4.1 Service Description
Empower Training Group provides professional training services, including but not limited to First Aid, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Mental Health training and workplace professional courses.
4.2 Booking
All bookings are subject to availability. Confirmation of your booking will be sent via email once payment is received.
4.3 Delivery of Services
Courses are delivered either online, in-person, or in a hybrid format. Full details, including dates and venues (where applicable), will be provided upon booking.
4.4 Substitutions
If the original delegate cannot attend, a substitute delegate may attend in their place at no additional cost, provided we are notified at least 48 hours before the course. If we are notified with less than 48 hours notice, a £20 + VAT charge will apply.
4.5 Course Waiting List
If a course is fully booked, participants can opt to be placed on a waiting list. This can be done on our website, over the phone or email to our Customer Success Team: hello@empowertraining.uk
4A - Training Packages
Empower Training Group offers three exclusive training packages designed to provide maximum value and flexibility. Each package includes a carefully curated selection of courses tailored to your learning goals.
- Foundation Training Package
- Aspire Training Package
- Apex Training Package
4A.1 Booking and Payment
- Training packages must be purchased in full at the time of booking to secure the package rate.
- Courses within the package can be booked individually and are ran on our "Open Courses", subject to availability.
- Packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
4A.2 None Transferable & Non-Refundable
Training packages are non-transferable and can only be used by the individual or organisation named on the purchase. Unused courses within a package are non-refundable unless cancelled by Empower Training Group.
4A.3 Rescheduling
Courses included in a package may be rescheduled, provided we are notified at least 2 Weeks in advance of the course date.
Rescheduling within 7 days will incur an admin charge of £20+VAT
4A.4 Package Discounts
Packages offer a discounted rate compared to booking courses individually. No further discounts or promotional offers can be applied to package purchases.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Prices
All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT will be charged at the standard 20% rate.
5.2 Payment Terms
Payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment via [credit card, bank transfer, apple pay, google pay, klana and revult pay].
5.3 Price Increases
We believe in fair pricing for training and that it should not cost the earth to attend good quality training. Prices for our services are reviewed annually and may be adjusted in line with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) or other economic factors.
- Notice of Price Changes: If a price increase is required, we will provide a minimum of 30 days’ notice via email or other written communication.
- Contracts and Ongoing Services: For clients with ongoing services or subscriptions, price changes will take effect at the start of the next financial year.
- Bookings Made Before a Price Increase: Bookings confirmed and paid for before a price increase will not be affected.
5.4 Late Payments
If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking or suspend access to services with zero refund. Late payments may incur a late payment fee of £20+VAT.

5.5 Single Monthly Pay Run
To keep our operations running smoothly, we process payments on a single monthly pay run. This means all payments received during the month are reconciled on the same date.
Having one pay run a month helps us streamline our administrative processes, stay on top of our finances, and focus on delivering exceptional training. It also ensures that any adjustments, credits, or refunds are handled methodically.
6. Business Credit & Purchase Orders
6.1 Eligibility for Credit
Businesses may apply for a credit account with Empower Training Group, allowing the use of a purchase orders for payment. Approval is subject to a credit check and references, which may be conducted at our discretion.
6.2 Application Process
To apply for a credit account, please email our Customer Success Team at: hello@empowertraining.uk
Applications for credit, will be reviewed within 10 working days and you will be notified of our decision by email.
6.3 Credit Terms
Approved credit accounts are subject to 30 day payment terms from the date of invoice, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may incur a late payment fee of £20+VAT.
6.4 Purchase Orders
Purchase orders must include the correct course details, dates and invoice number to avoid delays in processing.
Acceptance of purchase orders does not constitute guaranteed booking until confirmed by our team.
6.5 Non-payment and Account Suspension
Failure to settle outstanding invoices within the agreed timeframe may result in:
- Suspension of further bookings or services
- Withdrawal of the credit account
- Persistent non-payment may lead to legal action to recover outstanding debts.
6.6 Changes to Credit Agreements
We reserve the right to modify credit limits or terms at any time, based on payment history or other relevant factors. Notice will be provided in writing.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
7.1 Customer Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing to our customer success team, who can be contacted at hello@empowertraining.uk
Refunds are available as follows:
- 100% refund if cancelled 4 weeks or more before the course date.
- 50% refund if cancelled between 2 and 4 weeks before the course date.
- No refund if cancelled less than 2 weeks before the course date. If you have not paid in full at this time, full payment must be made.
7.2 Our Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule courses due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
7.3 Exceptional Circumstances
Cancellations due to exceptional circumstances (e.g., medical emergencies, bereavement) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
8. Discounts and Offers
8.1 Discounts or promotional offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
8.2 Discounts must be applied at the time of booking and cannot be added retrospectively.
8.3 We reserve the right to withdraw offers at any time without notice.
9. Certificates of Completion
9.1 Certificates will be issued electronically within 1 business working day of course completion, provided all requirements are met.
9.2 If you have requested a printed certificate, this will be posted out within 5 business days of course completion.
9.3 Replacement certificates are available for a fee of £15+VAT.
10. User Conduct
By using our website or attending our courses, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information during booking.
- Refrain from disruptive behaviour during courses.
- Not share or distribute course materials without prior written consent.
We reserve the right to remove participants who are disruptive or breach our policies without a refund.
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 Ownership
All content, training materials, and resources provided by Empower Training Group are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
11.2 Prohibited Use
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or publicly display any materials without our prior written consent.
12. Limitations of Liability
12.1 We are not liable for any:
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
- Loss of income, revenue, or data arising from the use of our services.
12.2 While we take all reasonable steps to deliver high-quality training, we do not guarantee specific outcomes or results from our courses.
13. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.
15. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate access to our services if you breach these Terms and Conditions.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
