Course Description 

Safer Recruitment Training provides individuals involved in the hiring process with the essential skills and knowledge to recruit safely and effectively, minimising risks to children, young people, and vulnerable adults. This course emphasises best practices in safeguarding and legal compliance, ensuring organisations can build safe environments.

Who Should Attend

This course is ideal for anyone responsible for hiring staff or volunteers who will work with children, young people, or vulnerable adults, including HR professionals, managers, and recruiters.

Minimum Age

The certification is available to learners who are aged 16 and over. â€‹

Course Validity

The certification does not expire. It is strongly recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training.

Currently we offer this as a 1 day classroom course only. We are working towards splitting this into e-learning and then a practical element at our HQ. â€‹

   - Assessing candidates’ attitudes toward safeguarding

   - Identifying concerns during the interview process

   - Monitoring and evaluating safeguarding awareness in new hires
