Course Description
This course introduces participants to the principles and techniques of motivational interviewing, a client-centered counseling approach that enhances motivation for positive change. Participants will learn how to effectively guide conversations, resolve ambivalence, and encourage individuals to set and achieve their goals. The course covers key skills such as active listening, empathy, and strategic questioning.

Healthcare professionals, counsellors, social workers, coaches, or anyone in roles that involve guiding individuals toward behavioural change and personal growth.

Minimum Age
The qualification is available to learners who are ages 16 and over. ​

Course Validity
The certification does not expire. It is strongly recommended that the learner attends annual refresher training.

Course Delivery
This is a 1 day in person classroom course. The course is very interactive, and participants must be prepared to be involved in the lessons.
