  • What is an None Regulated Course Compared to a Regulated One?
An none regulated course is a course that is NOT overseen or governed by an official regulatory authority ( in our case OFQUAL). We offer these courses as this allows us to "add in bits" that can be useful and as such we can tailor the course to you. The key features of an unregulated course are: - Flexibility: Greater freedom in curriculum design and delivery methods. - Diverse Offerings: A wide variety of subjects and skills that may not be covered in traditional education systems. - No Formal Accreditation: Lack of official recognition or endorsement by a regulatory body. - Cost Effective: As there is no formal qualification at the end, these courses are offered at a cheaper rate. A regulated course is a training package that IS governed by an official body or regulatory authority. These courses must adhere to specific standards and guidelines set by these governing bodies to ensure a certain level of quality and consistency in delivery. The key features of a regulated course are: -Accreditation: Official recognition by a governing body. -Standardised Curriculum: A curriculum that meets specific standards and learning outcomes. -Quality Assurance: Regular evaluations and assessments to maintain educational standards. -Professional Recognition: Graduates are often eligible for professional licensure or certification. -Legal Compliance: Adherence to national or regional education laws and regulations. Which type of course should I choose? A: The choice between a regulated and none regulated course depends on your goals and needs: - Choose a regulated course if: You need a recognised qualification for professional practice, seek career advancement in a regulated field, or prefer the assurance of a standardised delivery method. - Choose an unregulated course if: You want to learn a new skill quickly, are exploring a new interest, need flexibility in learning, or are looking for cost-effective education options. In truth, We teach unregulated courses just as highly and professionally as regulated ones. Unregulated just give us the flexibility to throw in extra content EG if you want to learn about splints etc.
  • How long does my First Aid Certificate last for?
Great Question - Your certificate lasts for 3 years from the date of issue. Once you pass your course, We will ask you if you would like us to contact you before this expires. If you undertake a First Aid Course with us, we will also issue you a 10% off voucher for your next course... And yes, that voucher will remain valid for the 3 years. We would recommend however that you attend a First Aid Refresher Course each year to keep up to date.
  • How long is the First Aid at Work Course
There are 3 different types of First Aid at Work (FAW) Course we offer. 1) Consecutive 2) Blended 3) Block
  • What should I wear and bring to a First Aid Training course?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely, as some parts of the training involve physical activity, such as practicing CPR. We will give a handout / booklet that is yours to keep. It has all the information in it so don't worry if you forget to bring a pen and paper.
  • Can First Aid Training be customised for specific needs?
Absolutely, We can customise our courses to meet the specific needs of different groups or industries. If you require this course to be CPD accredited, we can also discuss this with you. There would be an admin fee for this as a lot of work has to go into getting this verified and checked.
  • Reasonable Adjustments / Special Considerations for First Aid Qualifications
